CoLab
Collaborative Software Development
The idea behind CoLab is to combine remote desktop technology with online video conferencing.
A host will navigate to the CoLab website and create a new session which multiple users can join via a session ID or link. All users are able to view each other and chat using VoIP, or via an integrated messenger - similar to traditional video conferencing software. The host will be able to give simultaneous control of their computer – or just a single window – to one other user at a time. The “host” role can always be passed to another user by the current host.
The focus today is on collaboration in the cloud. But CoLab gives you the freedom to work wherever.
With CoLab, users can collaborate on files that are saved locally, using any device that has a web browser. No additional software, no unwieldy web interface, no hassle. Work together within the applications you know and love, on the host’s computer.

AC Inducted Fan
AC Induction Motor with Rotor Integrated Ducted Fan
Novel rotating machinery design for bypassing air and producing thrust for future use with Hyperloop Pods or Electric Planes.
The key element that distinguishes the AC Inducted Fan from current market products is the omission of a drive shaft which is replaced using magnetic bearings and a ducted fan that is integral to the rotor and rotated through rotational magnetic fields.
Design Work Completed:
CAD Modeling Leader and Quality Control
Mechanical FEA on Ducted Fan Design
Magnetic FEA to design the rotor and the stator for the motor.
Electrical & Power Analysis for sizing the motor through energy conservation, heat transfer and circuit analysis.
RC Aircraft
Design & Build Competition
Designed a 1kg RC Aircraft capable of lifting a payload of 100%. Team competed in the competition and finished with a score of 92/100 points.
Project Role:
CAD Modeling and FEA Lead
Designed every custom component of the aircraft that was manufactured in the final assembly.
Conducted FEA on the Landing Gear to implement a novel take-off and landing system that was recognized as one of the top innovations in the design competition.

Pipeline Design Tool
Multiphase Flow Analysis Software
Conducted research on the design of piping systems for multiphase flow for a school project. As an additional product of the design, a simulation and design tool was created for sizing and characterizing flow systems.
Project Role:
Developed the structure of the Visual Basic Based Tool.
Constructed the fluids model for the basis of the software programming.
Created the GUI and Worksheet interface.
Touchless Toilet Seat
Automated Lifting Mechanism
Designed and built a mechanism for installing on common toilets coupled with photoelectric sensor for automated raising and lowering of toilet seats to improve sanitary conditions in a wide range of markets.
Project Role:
Design and analyze the system linkages
Supported the CAD design of the mechanism.
Executed dynamic motion analysis of the linkages in GIM and SolidWorks.

Robotics
Robot Competition - Task Based
Designed and built a robotic vehicle to drive around a maze and deliver balls to specified targets.
Project Role:
CAD for the ball storage carousel
Designed the launching mechanism
Assisted with the logic for developing an autonomous robot that could navigate the maze and detect other robots to avoid collision
Wood Working
Deck and Fence Design & Construction
Designed and constructed a custom designed fence and deck as a summer project in 2015.
